#17/100UIchallenges - Email Receipt

Some thoughts:

Didn't change much on content. the customer base are huge, this neutral tone suits well to the amazon's audience. Only change the "order confirmation' title to "Your payment was successful!" to add a bit celebration/optimistic ๐Ÿ™Œ vibe.


Overall, the visual it's our dated. Didn't have a great info hierarchy, which makes it hard to scan. ๐Ÿ˜…

Originally the fonts were messy, the "order confirmation" and "hello customer name" are the same font size; "thank you for shopping..." and "We hope to see you soon" both are email body, but they have different font size.

  • Redesign the font hierarchy;

  1. - Highlight important information: Title-What's the email is about; Order number;

  2. - Make the font consistent : Email body has the same font size.

  • Reorganize the spacing between each section/part- easier to scan, ready; create info hierarchy;

  • Update their visuals to their newest brand guideline : the button and the "prime" icon;

  • Optimize the color palate to matching their newest branding visuals;

  • Get rid of the naming for "but it again" items : people don't read, they scan, and they should know what they have bought๐Ÿคทโ€โ™€๏ธ
